Just finished reading a great essay by Orson Scott Card in support of the way the War on Terror is being handled by Bush. He has some pretty strong hot sports opinions about the elections coming up too.
There are lots of good quotes in his essay, but one that I particularly agree whole heartedly with about dealing with Bush detractors:
It’s not enough to say, Bush made a mistake. You have to say, Bush deliberately did it wrong for evil purposes and he must be punished.
People don’t just want to point out a mistake, they need to somehow prove that it’s not just a mistake, but a wilfull act of evil. Just look at all the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Anybody who quotes Orson Scott Card is decent in my book. I didn’t realize you were such a Sheeple(c)!
I’ve actually been wondering which way to vote. Thanks for giving me a heads-up. I think Card’s essay is clear and reasonable and helps put the big picture in focus for me.
Riveting indeed. Makes me feel I should vote, so I guess I will. Dang it … I was hoping apathy would take the best of me!
